A new year means a new episode of Pittsburgh Golf Now’s Par 4! Zac Weiss and I took aim at four topics from the PGA Tour and the golf world at large.

After Dustin Johnson ruled 2020, who will preside over 2021? Who has the most pressure to have a big year and who might sneak up to steal the spotlight?

We discussed that, then looked into ways to spice up the well-worn stroke play the PGA Tour is built on, brainstormed on how Justin Thomas might make amends for his big mistake and gave some love to the players on the precipice — not just the mountaintop.

A 15-year veteran of sports media, Matt Gajtka (GITE-kah) is the founding editor of PGN. Matt is a lifelong golfer with a passion for all aspects of the sport, from technique to courses to competition. His experience ranges from reporting on Pittsburgh's major-league beats, to broadcasting a variety of sports, to public relations, multimedia production and social media.
